New businesses finding Eliot a great place to be and it's easy to see why. Route 236 is an ideal location for many new and relocating businesses:

It's easily accessible by Route 95 and anywhere along the seacoast.
Eliot's tax rate is much lower than many of the surrounding communities.
There is still plenty of reasonably priced buildings and/or land available for lease or purchase.
Route 236 is a major commuting route from the Berwicks to Portsmouth and Route 95, allowing for added exposure to potential clients/customers.
As traffic, parking and stop lights become more commonplace across the seacoast, many customers/clients would prefer driving to a business located on Route 236 instead of through other localities.
