"Welcome to Eliot" signage along Route 236:
It was the general consensus, among the members in
attendance, that the town should have signs on the Eliot / Kittery
border as well as the Eliot / South Berwick border prior to the 2010
Bicentennial. The signage will most likely incorporate a town or
regional motto, along with other various items relating to our town
history. In upcoming meetings, we will be discussing ideas, suggestions,
town/state approval and donations for the project.
